All the feels in this renovated family home in Kambah

Winter Sunday roasts with the family and fancy summer soirees with friends, this home has played host to many a gathering over the years, and it’s just waiting for another family to move in and start making wonderful memories.

Zac and Sandy Morris from One Agency agree 8 Bullock Circuit in Kambah is the perfect family home.

“It’s very loving and warm,” Sandy said.

“You can tell straight away that it’s a really loved family home.”

Zac says the recent renovations and the stunning garden also reflect the thoughtfulness of the owner.

“The renovations of the kitchen and bathrooms are superb, and the garden has been well cared for over many years, with mature deciduous trees and veggie beds – it’s delightful.”

Bernadette and Katherine grew up in the home and recall good times, with guests always coming over for casual get-togethers or formal dinner parties.

“It was our home for 24 years,” Bernadette said.

“It was also the perfect ‘party’ house. Mum would host at every opportunity from cosy winter dinner parties to elegant garden parties to celebrate engagements, baby showers and birthdays.

“And most important, like every good home, the kitchen was the hub! We all loved the smell of roast lamb as we walked in the door.”

Sandy says the home is ideal for a family, with playgrounds, shops, schools and cafes close by and great neighbours.

“Those are the sorts of things families are looking for in a home.”

And the Murrumbidgee Golf Course is just a stone’s throw away.

The single-level, three-bedroom home is filled with light year-round, with extensive use of floor-to-ceiling glass.

A combination of picture and awning windows frame the pretty garden outlook throughout the home.

The open plan kitchen is decorated in neutral tones and is complete with a walk-in pantry, induction cooktop, Bosch dishwasher and fabulous drawer and bench space.

Beautiful double red cedar doors bring the outdoors in and create a seamless flow from generous indoor living spaces to the picture-perfect rear gardens.

Katherine says the neighbours – and not just next door, but the entire street – made the house a home, always there to help out, even minding their dogs.

“We loved that we could walk to school without crossing a road and we had the park and Theo’s takeaway and now Shabby Attic less than a two minute walk away,” she added.

The renovations include a walk-in pantry in the kitchen, pure wool carpets, a spa in the bathroom and beautiful French doors leading out to the travertine tile entertainment area.

“Mum took so much pride in her home and every home improvement she made has had so much thought put into it,” Katherine said.

And the girls also recall gardening together, lounging on the shady green lawn on summer afternoons and enjoying the blooms in spring and the fruits of the irrigated veggie patch.

Located in a quiet loop street, Zac says the home itself is very private, with screening at the front and around the rear garden.

He also said following Barritt Street offered a traffic light-free 15-minute drive into the city.

“This is a beautifully kept family home in the perfect location,” Sandy concluded.
