South Coast New South Wales
The South Coast is a home away from home for countless Canberrans who own holiday homes or stay at holiday parks, motels or any one of the coast’s many waterfront camping grounds. With sparkling sandy beaches, rich heritage and native bushland featuring an abundance of birds and wildlife, the Eurobodalla Shire really is nature’s playground. Fresh seafood features heavily at local cafes, restaurants and clubs, as does locally produced meat and dairy products. There is plenty of adventure on offer including kayaking, snorkelling, surfing, fishing, and whale watching – as well as sky diving at Moruya Airport, seaplane adventures, and Mogo Zoo. The region also has great bushwalking and cycling tracks connecting villages, beaches and islands.
