Far South Coast New South Wales
Stretching from south of Tilba Tilba, past the famous suburb of Bega and down to the Victorian border, the Far South Coast boasts some of the most undisturbed beaches in Australia. Merimbula and the Sapphire Coast offer tranquil getaway experiences and are a coveted setting for a seachange with friendly townships, spectacular wilderness, and plenty to see and do. The Far South Coast has great vantage points for whale watching from April through to September, as well as snorkelling, surfing and bushwalking anytime the mood strikes. The area is well known for its fresh local seafood and oysters, and delicious dairy products from local farmers. With green rolling hills as far as the eye can see, the region’s inland is as serene as its coastland and has many river systems and national parks to explore.
