Alpine New South Wales
As the highest mountain range in our nation, the NSW Alpine region is a spectacular place to visit and an even better place to live if you love fresh air and skiing in winter. The Alpine region is home to Kosciuszko National Park, Lake Eucumbene, Lake Jindabyne, and a wealth of birdlife and wildlife including wild brumbies. Perisher, Thredbo and Selwyn Snowfields are the most popular snowfields in Australia, and there are plenty of beautiful nearby villages offering easy access including Woodridge, Crackenback, Jindabyne, Adaminaby and Cooma. Each features its own unique characteristics and history, with plenty of places to explore and engage in nature activities such as fishing, sightseeing, hiking, bushwalking and horse riding.
