One of Canberra’s northernmost suburbs, Ngunnawal is a spacious, quiet area that’s popular with professionals and families. Tucked just inside the ACT/New South Wales border on Canberra’s most northern tip, Taylor is one of Canberra’s newest suburbs. Its first residents have already moved in and made the area home, living in a mix of brand new houses and townhouses, and the suburb continues to expand. Taylor already has its own primary school, and the Taylor Adventure Playground is there to keep the kids entertained. There are plans to build a local shopping centre, but until then, there are plenty of facilities in the neighbouring suburbs and it’s only four kilometres into the lively Gungahlin Town Centre and light rail network.

Hugging the north-eastern edge of Lake Burley Griffin, Acton is home to the National Museum of Australia and National Film and Sound Archive.
