What I love about this home (she said)..
The spacious lounge/dining/kitchen makes it homely with everyone in the same area. The kitchen has a pull-out pantry - it’s great! The bedrooms are a good size. The 4th bedroom was used as our study and provides quick access to the north facing patio.
The house is well insulated with evaporative cooling and ducted gas heating; double glazed windows and a front window shutter (blocks out the cold over winter and sun during summer). It’s an excellent investment! For added insulation, floating floorboards were recently installed. Windows have honeycomb blinds to further insulate the house too.
I love the garden most of all - front and back. There’s roses, flowering bulbs, magnolias, a Peach tree as well as Mandarin and Lemon trees - they flower at different times of the year, but in Spring it is heavenly!
There’s lots of paving with the garden sectioned off into areas. The lawn and patio area is great for the kids to play all year round. Large trees provide shade in summer.
On the eastern side, there is a fishpond adjacent to the clothesline. The chook yard is separated by a wall of green star jasmine.
There's a water tank too - water from the evaporative cooler goes to it. Excess water runs via ag pipes into the garden. There’s a fireplace to toast marshmallows, or somewhere people can sit and reflect.
Make an offer that can't be refused and plan on holding your first Christmas party!
