Reimagine suburban living at the brand new Kingsland

Think living in the burbs is dull? A brand new development in Gungahlin wants you to completely re-think suburban life.

Kingsland is a new development of one, two, and three-bedroom townhouses right in the heart of Casey. Keenan Veraar from LJ Hooker says that while townhouses are usually the first to be built in new suburbs, Kingsland is one of the last sites in Casey.

“The shops and community have become well established over the last few years. Kingsland buyers will have eateries, cafes and supermarkets at their doorstep from the moment they move in. The community is thriving and it’s a very family-friendly suburb,” he says.

Designed by Cox Architecture, the spacious townhouses are modern and distinctive, with seven plan types to choose from. They also feature large courtyards that flow out from the internal living spaces, and lots of the homes have individual secure garages.

“The architects have done a superb job of creating a striking, modern façade and functional and spacious interiors,” says Keenan.

“The materials and site plan have been designed to minimise the need for upkeep, reduce body corporate fees and maximise open spaces and green links throughout.”

The townhouses feature double glazing, gas cooking, air conditioning, instant hot water, externally ducted rangehoods, Fisher and Paykel appliances, and an overall low maintenance design.

Moving into Kingsland means having easy access to thriving shopping and dining, loads of spots to run and play, a rich community, great schools and multiple routes that take you into the city.

“[Casey is] the kind of place where you will know your neighbours, shop keepers and staff at the cafes and restaurants. There are lots of families in the area and it’s a great place to raise kids. There’s plenty of parks and sporting facilities nearby and a well renowned selection of schools,” says Keenan.

“With the Casey Market Town being just across the road it’s not just a great area for owner occupiers but also for investors too. Gungahlin is booming and provides extra amenities, but Casey is its own lovely little pocket of convenience and lifestyle that also has a sense of calm about it. People who love to have brunch at the weekend, grab their morning coffee and enjoy dinner at the local pub will know that Casey is one of the few suburbs where this is a reality.”

Kingsland’s first residents are expected to move in at the end of 2021.
