One Agency Sandy Morris announces new My Morris brand, plans for growth

It started out as a one-woman force in Canberra’s deep south but now One Agency Sandy Morris has launched a new brand - and announced plans for significant growth.

My Morris - headed up by Sandy - officially launches today, retaining its Kambah HQ and staff but with a reinvigorated vision for its role in the ACT. The agency is looking to grow its property management portfolio and annual sales figures, and will boost staff numbers by up to 50 per cent.

“The agency's grown a lot since Sandy started it seven years ago,” sales consultant Zac Morris says.

“We've grown to a size now where we want to head in our own direction, and have more control on what our messaging is, and how we present ourselves to the community.”

Since hitting Tuggeranong mailboxes with a flier announcing her business in 2014, Sandy Morris has grown the agency to seven staff. The team now manages an ever expanding rent roll portfolie across the ACT and NSW and last year sold more than 130 homes. Tuggeranong is the agency’s heartland, and most My Morris staff members actually live in Kambah.

“The reputation Sandy's fostered on the sales side has seen the business snowball, growing exponentially to where we are today,” Zac says.

Excited by the agency’s plans for growth, Sandy will continue selling as well as being the agency principal.

Equipped with a leading team of sales agents and property managers, My Morris is in active recruiting mode; looking to add to their experienced team.

“We’re looking for people who align with what we're trying to portray with our new brand,” Tahlia says.

“Our brand will be fresh, new and vibrant, with an emphasis on boutique tailored service and exceptional digital and print marketing.

“We are looking for people who are self-motivated, enthusiastic, professional and sensitive to our clients' needs. They’re the traits of our existing staff and we want to keep building on that.”

A brand new office could be on the cards - “Watch this space,” Zac says - and the team’s passion for south Canberra’s “proximity to nature, easy commute, stunning views of the Brindabellas” will be injected into everything the My Morris team does.

“We're excited because we've had these ideas on how we want to grow, how we want to present to the market and the service we want to provide our clients ,” Tahlia says.

“And we're going to do that now."
