Canberra’s top virtual auctions this weekend

Canberra may be in lockdown but online auctions are still going ahead on Saturday.

Here are some homes in Canberra going under the virtual hammer this weekend:

6 Kirby Place, Oxley

This four-bedroom home in Oxley is going under the virtual hammer tomorrow at 10am.

Listed with Mark McCann of McCann Properties, 6 Kirby Place is a modern family home with two bathrooms, a home office and two outdoor decks.

Mr McCann said interest is high ahead of the online auction tomorrow.

“I have got quite a few bidders already registered,” he said.

“It is too late to cancel and I wouldn’t want to.”

Mr McCann said that his previous success in online auctions is reassuring home owners.

“I have done online auctions before and had successful results so I am confident in providing options to people,” he said.

“At the end of the day, people want to buy and sell houses and whether that’s done online or on the front lawn, you’re still buying a house and walking away with keys.”

This three-bedroom home in Watson is going under the virtual hammer tomorrow at noon.

“The auction should go well tomorrow,” said Ms Van Arkel.
