About Sadil Quinlan

Sadil Quinlan Properties have been an integral part of the Canberra region for over 5 decades.

In 1969, Nick Sadil , the highest selling real estate agent in Canberra, formed a partnership with high profile businessman Laurie Quinlan to launch Sadil Quinlan & Associates.

Sadil Quinlan & Associates opened its doors on London Circuit in early 1970 and quickly established itself as a Canberra Real Estate icon by introducing innovative marketing and a fresh approach to the traditional real estate agency practices of the time.

Canberra was experiencing an unprecedented population growth and the town was transforming into a city.

In 1972 the two partners decided to go their separate ways and Nick Sadil took 100% control of the company.

Sadil Quinlan “For Sale ” and ” For Lease” signs were popping up like mushrooms as quickly as the developers established the new satellite cities of Woden, Weston Creek and Belconnen. Tuggeranong Valley was still just a twinkle in the eye of the planners and Gungahlin just a pipe dream that many believed would never happen.

Many thousands of Canberrans achieved the “Australian Dream” and bought or rented their first home through Sadil Quinlan in those years.

Nick’s sons Greg, Marc and Adam joined the family company in the late seventies and became directors in 1984.

Nick Sadil passed way in 1999 after a distinguished career unsurpassed by any other agent in the ACT.

Some of his many achievements were selling the largest number of properties by an agent in a single year, the sales and rentals of many of Canberra’s embassies and diplomatic residences, the first million dollar residential sale, the sale of most of Canberra’s hotels and thousands of happy home buyers and sellers, throughout the region.
